What are Lantern Light Devotionals?

We are a faith-based family who deeply believe we wouldn’t be where we are today without God’s blessings and mercy. Whether it’s praying together, reading Scripture, or trusting God through the ups and downs of farm life, we try to allow our faith to guide

 everything we do.

Toward the end of last year, we felt God placing a desire on our hearts to start sharing daily devotionals with our followers. This was way outside our comfort zone — being on camera and posting for everyone to see didn’t come naturally to us.

When we started talking to each other about this desire, we realized God had placed it on both of our hearts. We weren’t sure exactly how to share the devotionals, so we began praying and looking for ideas.

One evening, as we sat around the kitchen table with a lantern burning, the idea came to incorporate the lantern into our daily devotionals. We began posting them at the start of 2025.

Since then, we haven’t been perfect at posting every day. We’re only human, and life on the farm gets busy. Still, we love sharing the devotionals and do our best to keep them going.

We love the opportunity to share our faith and what God has done for us. We try to keep the daily devotionals short so our followers can take a few minutes at the start of their day to reflect on God, His blessings, and have encouragement to lean on throughout the day.
